Spending over three years writing print stories for the beauty and wellness section at Women’s Health made me feel like a character in an early 2000s rom-com. I never thought I’d have the opportunity to work in print after the pivot-to-digital era, but it was incredibly rewarding to see my words come to life on a physical page next to incredible art and graphics. From pitching and ideating story concepts to scouting talent to assisting with photoshoots, this role taught me so much about all the moving parts that go into publishing a magazine.
